Drive It Day Cumbria is run by Wigton Motor Club and vehicle owners are invited to come to Dalemain between 11 and 2 on Sunday, April 24th. DID raises thousands for charity and The Cumbrian one is in aid of Blood Bikes and Hospice At Home (West Cumbria). Car owners are asked to give £5 per car on arrival, all of which will go to the charities. The Dalemain mansion and gardens will be open, and food will be served from the barn. Dalemain is a mile south of Rheged on the A592. The event is open to all types of vehicles, cars, buses, lorries and motor bikes.
